GTM / Business Development Generalist

Veraclins Tech Solutions is an Abuja-based software company building its own products and partnering with clients on custom software work. We're looking for a commercially sharp GTM / Business Development Generalist to help us turn our technical strength into revenue, partnerships, and market traction.

You'll work directly with the founder, PM, designer, and engineering team to define offers, find prospects, build relationships, run outbound, support demos, and convert early interest into paid engagements or product pilots.

What you'll do

  • Build and manage a pipeline for client software projects, retainers, advisory work, and product partnerships.
  • Identify and reach out to potential clients, partners, early adopters, and design partners.
  • Own outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, events, communities, and direct referrals.
  • Help package Veraclins' service offers into clear, sellable propositions.
  • Support product launches across our portfolio.
  • Run discovery calls, qualify leads, document needs, and coordinate next steps with the PM / founder.
  • Help create pitch decks, proposals, landing page copy, and sales collateral.
  • Maintain a lightweight CRM and keep follow-ups moving.

Hard requirements

  • Based in Abuja, Nigeria — hybrid, mostly remote with in-person work as needed for the team, clients and local events.
  • 3+ years in business development, sales, partnerships, growth, product marketing, or a closely related commercial role.
  • Proven ability to source leads and turn cold or warm conversations into qualified opportunities.
  • Strong written communication — clear emails, proposals, LinkedIn messages, and product / service copy.
  • Comfortable selling software, technology services, SaaS, or digital products.
  • Strong follow-up discipline and the ability to manage a pipeline without being chased.
  • Good understanding of Nigerian business realities, especially SMEs, professional services, education, finance, or tech-enabled businesses.
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage company where process is still being built.
  • Able to use AI tools to improve speed and quality of research, writing, outreach, and sales operations.

Nice to haves

  • Existing network among Nigerian SMEs, schools, accounting firms, law firms, startups, or business associations.
  • Experience selling custom software, SaaS, B2B services, or tech consulting.
  • Experience with CRM tools, email automation, LinkedIn outreach, or sales analytics.
  • Familiarity with tax, education, recruitment, SME operations, or fintech markets.
